Frome is a great place to get married – it has picturesque churches and halls for your ceremony, not to mention miles of green countryside with secluded venues for your reception.  Frome also benefits from an array of wonderful independent wedding suppliers, both in the town and in surrounding areas of Somerset and Wiltshire.

The Rook Lane Wedding Fair came about from a desire to showcase all of Frome’s great local wedding businesses in one place, whilst providing a stress-free and enjoyable day out for couples thinking of getting married here.

We’ll have local favourites with national reputations in the wedding industry such as  jeweler Annette Gabbedey and Lolita Noir.  We’ll be sampling some of the delights provided by local reception venues such as The Cornerhouse and Wanstrow Village Hall.  There will be a range of music options on offer, from the classical and traditional repertoire of Salutemus to bespoke playlists from Tailor Made Sound.  There will also be wedding dresses, bridal hair and make-up, photography, and beautiful décor from Wedding Event and Prop Hire; a local business offering an array of chair coverings, vases, candelabra and tableware to enhance the look of any wedding.

We are excited to be showcasing these local businesses and hope to welcome couples from across the country to Rook Lane Chapel on March 24^th.  We hope that our visitors will unearth that special something – be it a beautiful gown, a bespoke set of rings or some eye catching décor – that will transform their wedding into something magical.
