Frome Concerts Group presents… Duo Dorado

Frome Concert Group have been bringing the very best in classical music to Frome for the past 10 years, and this latest series of Sunday morning concerts is set to be one of the best yet.
The 2014 series starts with Duo Dorado…
“For well over a decade audiences have been charmed by Duo Dorado’s accessible and dynamic performances. Hazel Brooks (violin) and David Pollock (harpsichord) are not only highly accomplished musicians, but also adept verbal communicators. Exploring less well-known repertoire is a speciality. Their recording of pieces by English composer William Croft garnered enthusiastic reviews: “Hazel Brooks is assured and stylish…spirited playing from David Pollock”.
Duo Dorado will kick the season off with a delightfully diverse programme of music by Bach, Corelli, Finger, Purcell, Scarlatti and Vivaldi.”
