Special screening of Groundswell Rising, a documentary about fracking in America and the social movement which has emerged from affected communities. Informative, daunting, inspiring and hopeful all at once.

We are lucky enough to be joined by executive producer Mark Lichty who is in the UK on a 10 day tour starting in Westminster, followed by dates in Scotland,  Lancashire and ending here in Frome for his last night.
Mark has long been involved in issues of social justice and change through organizations such as Common Cause, Project for Nuclear Awareness and others. He is an attorney and former CEO of Bustin Industrial Products.

This is a timely opportunity to come and find out more about fracking and hear first hand from someone who has lived side by side with the industry and has documented people taking charge of defending their communities against its inherent dangers. There will also be a chance to find out about the situation in the UK, including the local area (Somerset and Wiltshire) where fracking licences have recently been issued.
