Frome Concerts Group present… Ji Liu

“A young pianist with a rare sense of inborn musicality…a technique to match any virtuoso” (Pianist magazine).
At the age of 24, Ji’s debut CD was released to critical acclaim and immediately went to No. 1 in the classical charts. He has appeared as a soloist with the Philharmonia and the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic orchestras and has performed Bach’s Goldberg Variations at the Wigmore Hall. FCG is delighted to be able to present Ji Liu, variously described as “a major talent” and “a world class pianist”. A full concert with interval, his programme will include Rameau: Gavotte in A minor with 6 variations, Beethoven: Sonata in F minor, Op. 57 (Appassionata), Chopin: Eight Waltzes, Saint-Saens: Danse Macabre.
Admission
Individual tickets £15 in advance or on the door (£8 under-21 concession). Tickets are available at a discount when purchased with the Tea Concert subscriptions, see above.
