An evening of the wit and songs of Noel Coward
Friday 4th April
Doors at 7pm // Performance from 7:30pm
Pianist and vocalist Peter Gill presents a tribute to the wit and song-writing skill of that most English of Englishmen, Noel Coward, who said of himself, “I am an enormously talented man and there is no point in denying it”.
Born in 1899, and enjoying a career spanning 4 decades, Coward was an actor, writer, composer director and producer. Peter will remind the audience of Cowards’ wit, and perform such gems as, Don’t Let’s be Beastly to the Germans, Mrs Worthington, and Mad Dogs and Englishmen in what promises to be a delectably flamboyant evening of 1940s fun.
