Engineer Steve Webb talks to the Architecture Club about the versatility of stone as a low carbon material. A material that can be used as both the skin and bone of a structure. Back to the stone age for a low carbon future!
Steve founded Webb Yates Engineers with Andy Yates in 2005. He has a passion for creating artful and adventurous structural designs, and has worked extensively with The Stonemasonry Company on award-winning projects that push the limits of stone. Steve is a Visiting Lecturer at Oxford Brookes University, and a Structures Tutor for the Architectural Association’s Interprofessional Studio.
