Frome Art Society – Spring Exhibition

Saturday 13th April - Saturday 20th April

10am - 4pm Tuesday to Saturday

New work from the Frome Art Society for Spring 2013. This exhibition will showcase the breadth of local creative talent in a variety of media. Many artists from around Frome join together to offer an exhibition of original work showing diversity of approaches to painting from traditional to contemporary. Mediums to include pencil, oil, acrylic, watercolour, pastel and charcoal.

Members from the Society will be giving free demonstrations at Rook Lane Chapel throughout the day on Saturday 13th April and Saturday 20th April.

PRIVATE VIEW: Friday 12th April // 6pm – 9pm // All are welcome and admission is free.

About Frome Art Society…

The late Charles and Vera Appleyard and Charles Hopkins founded Frome Art Society in 1979 to encourage local people to become involved in painting/drawing in a friendly atmosphere. It continues to be a welcoming, supportive group of people who are interested in the visual arts. It is an inclusive Society with members of all abilities, both amateur and professional. It is run by a voluntary committee elected at the Annual General Meeting held in April. Exhibitions are held twice a year.
