Frome Concerts Group presents…Quartetto di Cremona

Frome Concert Group have been bringing the very best in classical music to Frome for the past 10 years, and this latest series of Sunday morning concerts is set to be one of the best yet.
Frome Concerts Group present the Cremona Quartet in the final Coffee Concert of the season…
“We are delighted to be able to welcome Italy’s top string quartet to Frome. Writing in The Strad in 2013 Julian Haycock gives their latest CD a glowing review – “inflecting phrases with a keen flexibility and affectionate warmth”, “poise, enchantment and tonal richness”, “an outstanding release”.
Founded in 2000 the Cremona Quartet have toured extensively in America, Europe and Asia, have collaborated with stars like Angela Hewitt and have championed contemporary Italian composers such as Fabio Vacchi. The Cremona’s programme of pieces by Beethoven, Boccherini and Vacchi will be a very special conclusion to our 2014 series.”
