Ross Morris – guitar

“Ross Morris is considered one of the most exciting of the new generation of British classical guitarists” (Western Morning News, 2021) and has been described as playing with “outstanding technique and subtle nuance” (Helly’s International Guitar Festival 2022).

Currently based in Glasgow, Ross’s performing career has taken him to stages across the UK and North America, and he has toured with Scottish National Opera (2023) and Glyndebourne Opera Company (2021). As a chamber musician, Ross is a member of the Morris Begg Duo and also Quartet Malamatina, who have toured the UK and Canada, performed live for the BBC as well as commissioning and premiering two new works for the ensemble. Ross is an associate instrumental teacher, ensemble leader and lecturer at the University of St Andrew’s.
