Current Events

Siping Guo is a highly talented bassoonist from China. He is currently pursuing a Master of Performance degree at the Royal College of Music  in London and has already achieved notable success in his musical career. He won first prize in the Concerto Competition at RCM, performing Weber’s Bassoon Concerto. He has been selected for sponsorship by the Countess of Munster Musical Trust and is a member of their prestigious Recital Scheme.

Siping is accompanied on the piano by Apolline Khou who is currently the Historical Keyboards fellow at the Royal College of Music.  As a soloist, continuo player, or chamber musician, Apolline has performed at many distinguished venues – including giving a solo performance in December 2021 for HRH King Charles III, then The Prince of Wales.
