Frome International Climate Film Festival

10am to 10pm

The Frome International Climate Film Festival now in its 4thyear is back at the Cheese and Grain on the 18th May and this year we will be also having an Awards Celebration Day at Rook Lane Chapel on the 25th May. This year the festival has received over 1000 film entries from over 84 countries around the world, the festival is truly international and recognised throughout the world. So please join us, relax, be inspired by this year’s award-winning films from around the world in the beautiful setting of Rook Lane in Frome.

  • Screen the Award-Winning films from around the world submitted in 2025
  • Present THE FROME INTERNATIONAL CLIMATE FILM FESTIVAL AWARDS – THE CLIMATES
  • Show the UK Premier of the film DREAMSCAPES with KATE WINSLET as MOTHER EARTH
  • Plus hold workshops, an eco-art exhibition and have outside performers and local musicians.

So please come along and be inspired to support you, your family and your future.

Planned Activities Include;

The Award-Winning Films from Around the World (Main Room – 10:30am to 4:00pm)

    • The main screen showing the award-winning films from around the world on Climate and the Environment.

Meditation and Sound Bath (Café Area – 11:00am to 12:00)

    • Meditation and sound bath by Wildheart Wellbeing Collective

Art Display (Main Room – 10:00 to 22:00pm)

    • Eco-Art display

Musicians and Performers (In the Garden – 12:00 – 4:00pm)

    • Sue Harding, Francis Hayden and Sarah Curtis
    • Poetry by Helen Moore
    • Open Mic storytelling

The Frome International Climate Film Festival Awards (Main Room 5:00pm-7:00pm)

DreamScapes (Main Room – 8:00pm to 10:00pm)

    • UK Film Premier directed by Christian Machacek and narrated by Kate Winslet as Mother Earth
    • Interviews with the Audience

Food and Drinks (Café Area and Patio)

    • Food served from 12:00 outside on the patio
    • Drinks (Standard Teas and Coffee’s) from 10:00 from the Café
    • Bar from 12:00 to 8:00pm.
