Teatime Concert: Total Brass Quintet

Doors open for tea at 3:30pm // Performance from 4:15pm
Frome Concerts Group present this multi award-winning quintet made up of present and former Royal Academy of Music students. Total Brass Quintet will bring a hugely varied programme, from renaissance dance music by Susato to Gershwin via Bach. Trumpeters Robert Smith & Matthew Williams are joined by Elise Campbell (horn), Ross Learmonth (trombone) & Matthew Blunt, who will perform the astonishing tuba solo “Fnugg”, by Oystein Baadsvik.

Since 2003 Frome Concerts Group has brought a lively programme of classical music events to Frome.

FCG arrange two concert series each year. Coffee concerts take place on a Sunday morning during January and Februarya and Tea concerts are now held on a Sunday afternoon during October and November. Three varied concerts make up a series, and although purchase of a series subscription is reccomended, tickets for individual concerts are also available.
